Wolfgang Bogner
Co-Founder
During my apprenticeship, I discovered my passion for mixology and decided to travel the world behind the counter on a cruise ship. Two years later I landed back in Munich. After a few stations in Munich's gastronomy scene, I started as a bar manager at the Bayerischer Hof. I was awarded the best bar manager in Germany. After five years, my path as bar manager led me to the Onyx Bar at the Park Hyatt in Zurich. In 2015, I fulfilled my dream of having my own cocktail living room and opened Tales Bar in Zurich. Besides being self-employed, I am part of the Mixology Bar Awards Jury and am passionately committed to the German-speaking bar scene.

Daniel Staub
Co-Founder
After learning the fundamentals of the
industry at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), I continued to follow my passion
for hospitality, F&B and appreciation of
travel, choosing a career in aviation food
and beverage. Co-planning various pop-up cocktail bar, turning them into unique events still my hunger to bring experiences to life. I also created my own
website, which chronicles my global
adventures into the world of food and
cocktails. It also inspired my literary
venture based on my online stories and
interviews with the finest and most
innovative bartenders from around the
world. Authoring a book called
“Mixing Cosmopolitans” has also been a
thoroughly enriching experience both
professionally and personally.
